Jammu and Kashmir: Indian Army Jawan Mohammad Yaseen Abducted by Terrorists in Budgam, Massive Manhunt Launched

Terrorists in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir have abducted an Indian Army jawan of JAKLI Unit - Mohammad Yaseen - from his residence in Qazipora Chadoora in Budgam.

Budgam, March 8: In a dastardly move, terrorists in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir have abducted an Indian Army jawan of JAKLI Unit - Mohammad Yaseen - from his residence in Qazipora Chadoora in Budgam on Friday evening.

As per the initial information, the Army jawan was on leave till March 31 and was at his house taking rest, when terrorists entered his home and abducted him. Soon after the information, the area has been cordoned and a massive manhunt has been launched, both by the Indian Army and the Jammu and Kashmir Police.  Indian Army Captain Abducted by Armed Men in Kiratpur, Punjab. 

Earlier on February 23 this year, an Indian Army captain was abducted by unidentified armed men in Kiratpur town of Punjab. There were reports that the Army personnel had been identified as Captain Vishal.

Based on the call from a person named Suresh, who is working in the Indian Air Force (IAF), the Chandigarh Police considered the matter and soon launched a manhunt to find the abducted Captain. Suresh even informed the police that he received a message from Vishal that he had been kidnapped.

Previously too, terrorists had abducted three Special Police Officers (SPOs) and one Jammu and Kashmir police personnel in Shopian, asking them to quit the armed forces. Hizbul Mujahideen had taken the responsibility of the abduction then, later killing three of them.
