Two terrorists have been killed in an exchange of fire between terrorists and security forces in Padguchi area of Imam Sahib in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district.

Shopian, April 6: Two terrorists have been killed in an exchange of fire between terrorists and security forces in Padguchi area of Imam Sahib in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district. The security forces have launched a cordon and search operation in Imam Sahib area. The cordon was launched after the security forces got credible inputs of terrorists in the area. Syed Hilal Andrabi, ‘Over Ground Worker’ of Jaish, Arrested in Connection With Pulwama Attack, Says NIA.

According to reports, when the security forces arrived in the area, the terrorists started open indiscriminate firing which was retaliated by Indian forces leading to brief shootout. During the exchange of firing, two terrorists were neutralised. Their identity is yet to be ascertained. Meanwhile, earlier today, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested an ‘over ground worker’ of terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) in connection with the February 14 Pulwama terror attack. The accused has been identified as Syed Hilal Andrabi, who also had a connection with the 2017 Lethpora CRPF terror attack case. Andrabi has been sent to five days police custody.
