Jammu and Kashmir: Indian Army Arrests LeT Terrorist in Sopore, Arms and Ammunition Recovered

The Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police in a joint operation on Saturday, November 2, arrested a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist in Sopore of Baramulla district. Security forces got a tip-off about the presence of Lashkar terrorist in the area.

Baramulla, November 2: The Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police in a joint operation on Saturday, November 2, arrested a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist in Sopore of Baramulla district. Security forces got a tip-off about the presence of Lashkar terrorist in the area. According to reports, arms and ammunition were recovered. Terrorists who are continuously failing in their plans are targeting civilians to create panic in the valley. They are targeting apple traders, truck driver and migrant labourers. On Tuesday, five migrant labourers were killed by terrorists in Kashmir. The labourers from West Bengal were shot dead in Kulugam district of south Kashmir. Since the Centre's decision on Article 370, attacks on civilians are on a rise.

On Monday, a truck driver from Udhampur district was killed by terrorists in Anantnag. This was the fourth truck driver killed by militants since August 5. On October 24, two non-Kashmiri truck drivers were killed in Shopian. On October 14, a truck driver, who's vehicle was having Rajasthan registration number, was shot dead in Shopian.
