Srinagar, Sep 21: Two days after terror outfit Hizbul Mujahideen asked Kashmiris to quit security forces, intelligence agencies and central government jobs, three Special Police Officers (SPOs) and one Jammu and Kashmir police personnel have been abducted by terrorists in Shopian district. The two villages from where the policemen have been kidnapped are Kaprin and Batagund.

In a video message released on Tuesday, Hizbul Mujahideen threatened to kill every Kashmiri working for Jammu and Kashmir Police, Indian Army and all other security forces as well as the central government if they did not resign within the next four days. The warning was reportedly issued by Umar Ibn Khitaab, the spokeperson of the terror outfit. Jammu And Kashmir Police Release Hizbul Mujahideen Commander's Father After 'An Eye For An Eye' Warning.

The two-minute video message asked Kashmiris working for security forces and central agencies to “quit their jobs and upload the evidence of their resignations on the internet'. “Let us and the world see that you all rejected the occupation and joined our struggle for independence (of Kashmir from India)," the voice in the video threatened. Jammu and Kashmir: Two Terrorists Gunned Down in Bandipora Encounter.

“But let it be clear that your resignations will not be accepted after four days. All you will get is death at our hands, you all will be murdered," the voice warned.
