Pulwama, March 28: A civilian was injured after being fired shot at by suspected terrorists on Thursday night in Midoora village of Tral in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district. The youth has been identified as 24-year-old Muzaffar Ahmad Hajam. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where his condition is reported to be critical. According to reports, the youth was fired upon by masked gunmen outside his maternal home at Hajam Mohalla. After the incident, a joint team of the Army and the Special Operations Group (SOG) of the Jammu and Kashmir Police cordoned off the entire area and launched a searched operation.
Earlier this month, terrorists abducted a local and shot him dead in Gulzarpora area of Awantipora. The individual identified as Manzoor Ahmad Lone was a resident of Dogripora. According to reports, Lone’s body was recovered near Higher Secondary School at Gulzarpora.
