Jammu and Kashmir: Army Jawan Injured After Terrorists Lob Grenade at CRPF Camp in Kulgam

An Army Jawan was wounded after a terrorist lobbed a grenade at a CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) camp in Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir, reported news agency ANI. On Tuesday, three terrorists were neutralised during an encounter with the security forces. Arms and ammunition were also recovered from them, police said.

Kulgam, October 23: An Army Jawan was wounded after terrorists lobbed a grenade at a CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) camp in Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir, reported news agency ANI. On Tuesday, three terrorists were neutralised during an encounter with the security forces. This comes after a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) of the Indian Army died after being fired by a terrorist in Noushera sector. On Monday, Pakistan had violated ceasefire in Mendhar and Balakote sectors in Poonch district and resorted to unprovoked mortar shelling, prompting strong retaliation by Indian forces. In the attack, two civilians were injured.
