Srinagar, July 22: The Jammu and Kashmir administration on Wednesday issued a notification on the imposition complete lockdown in all the red districts in Kashmir Division, except Bandipora, from Wednesday evening till 6 AM on July 27. The administration, however, exempted agriculture, horticulture and construction works from the lockdown.

Informing about the complete lockdown, the Information and Public Relations department said, as quoted by news agency ANI, "Complete lockdown in all Red districts (excluding Bandipora) of Kashmir Division from today evening till 6 am on 27 July. Earlier on Sunday, the Jammu and Kashmir administration had announced partial lockdown beginning from July 24. The government had restricted the movement of individuals, vehicles and all activities within the jurisdiction of the Jammu district from 6 pm on all Fridays till 6 am on all Mondays. Meanwhile, there will no restrictions on the movement for emergency medical requirements for which no pass is required.
