Kochi, April 29: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday will produce a 29-year-old Palakkad resident, Riyas Aboobacker alias Abu Dujana in a court in Kochi. Aboobacker was arrested on Sunday for allegedly conspiring to commit a terrorist act through the ISIS Kasargode module, reported CNN News18. The prime accused confessed to have been inspired by Zahran Hashim, the alleged mastermind behind serial blasts in Sri Lanka on Sunday Easter on April 21. ISIS Kasaragod Module Case: NIA Conducts Raids at Three Locations in Kerala.

According to reports, the prime suspect had confessed that he wanted to carry out a suicide attack in Kerala. The NIA on Sunday carried out searches at three places in Kerala in connection with ISIS Kasaragod Module case. The probe agency said in a statement that it carried out the searches at the houses of three suspects -- two in Kasaragod and one in Palakkad. According to reports, the residences of Ahamed Arafat at Kaliyangad and Aboobacker Siddique at Nayanmarmoola in Kasaragod were raided from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. It said that mobile phones, SIM cards, memory cards, pen drives, diaries with handwritten notes in Arabic and Malayalam, DVDs and books of controversial Islamic preacher Zakir Naik were recovered.
