Indore, November 12: In a shocking incident in Madhya Pradesh, a 55-year-old physically challenged man allegedly died by suicide in Indore. The incident came to light after the deceased was found hanging at his residence in Indore on Monday evening, November 11. It is reported a few years ago, the man lost his ability to walk in a road accident, and this could have forced him to take the extreme step.
The deceased has been identified as Kaluram, son of Harchand, reports FPJ. Police officials said that Kauram was a resident of Khandwa Road. During the preliminary investigation, cops learned that Kaluram met with a road accident a few years ago, which impaired his legs. They also learned that the accident left Kaluram unable to walk. It is suspected that Kaluram was frustrated, and hence, he ended his life by hanging himself at his home. The incident came to light when Kaluram's wife discovered him hanging a their home. She immediately called her nephew and rushed Kaluram to MY Hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival. After the incident, the police reached the hospital and sent the body for post-mortem.
They have also registered a complaint in connection with the incident. Meanwhile, it is also reported that the police did not find any suicide notes from the crime scene. An investigation into the alleged suicide is underway. In a separate incident, a 22-year-old man was sentenced to life imprisonment in Indore for raping a woman during a robbery. The accused, Deepak Chauhan, and his two minor accomplices had entered the house of a 37-year-old woman under Lasudiya police station limits on May 14, 2021, and looted INR 50,000, two mobile phones and other items and gang-raped her.
