Hyderabad, November 22: An Indigo aircraft’s neo engine faced trouble mid-air after take-off from Hyderabad on Thursday. The airline issued a statement, in which it said that the pilot observed a minor engine sensor issue which did not warrant any automated caution. Indigo also claimed that the pilot continued the flight and made a normal landing at Port Blair.  Earlier, reports surfaced that the aircraft made an emergency landing in Hyderabad after due to the technical glitch.

The reports also claimed that the aircraft tilted to another side risking lives of passengers onboard. It was earlier reported that the nose of the plane moved towards one side, and one of the wings tilted heavily towards that side. However, the airline denied all these reports, maintaining that the aircraft made a safe landing at Port Blair. IndiGo Servers Down at All Airports, Passengers Left Stranded.

Earlier this month, an IndiGo flight made a full emergency landing at the Chennai airport. Similarly, on November 03 also, a neo engine of an IndiGo plane flying from Lucknow to Kolkata had faced trouble mid-air. Meanwhile, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has already told the IndiGo and GoAir airlines to resolve the issue. Both the airlines have been facing issues with Pratt & Whitney (P&W) engines. Due to this, some of their A320 Neo aircraft have already been grounded.
