IndiGo, GoAir Throw 10 Lakh Seats Each on Sale; Know Prices, Travel Period For Low-fare Tickets

New Delhi, Sep 3: In major good news for flyers, budget carriers IndiGo and GoAir on Monday threw as many as 10 lakh seats each on sale, offering low-fare tickets for travel during September 2018 to March 2019. While IndiGo is offering fares starting at Rs 999 for travel between September 18, 2018, and March 30, 2019, GoAir said it would provide 10 lakh low-fare tickets starting at Rs 1,099 during for trip during September 3, 2018, to March 31, 2019.
To avail the IndiGo offer, one will have to book tickets before September 6. The offer is valid for flights "across its network of 59 destinations" and for travel between September 18, 2018, and March 30, 2019, said the IndiGo statement. Notably, this is the second time in about two months that the airline has offered a million seats at low prices. Earlier in July, the budget carrier had put 1.2 million seats on sale.
Similarly, GoAir offers 10 lakh low-fare tickets starting at Rs 1,099 during September 3 to 5 period. The tickets would be valid for travel from September 3, 2018, to March 31, 2019. "This offer is available across all routes that GoAir operates, and fares will vary from sector to sector," the statement said. To book tickets, you need to visit their websites and click on the offer link as mentioned above, displayed on the homepage, and select your travel.
