Delhi seems to have hit the COVID-19 peak with the number of daily cases declining significantly, AIIMS Director Randeep Guleria said on Monday but cautioned against any lowering of guard. He also added that cases are increasing in certain states and they will reach a peak later, but there is not much evidence of community transmission of coronavirus at the national level.

India's COVID-19 case fatality rate is "progressively falling" and is currently at 2.49 percent, which is one of the lowest in the world, the Union Health Ministry informed Sunday, crediting efficient clinical management of hospitalised cases for it.
