The Army said that its soldiers are committed to uphold the core values of our Constitution and the rich history of courage, valour and sacrifice. In the video, the man introduced himself as an Indian Army soldier who belongs from Uttar Pradesh’s Pilibhit. The imposter is purportedly using provocative language in an alleged bid to fuel disharmony among different religions. He was maliciously using Delhi Mukherjee Nagar incident in which Delhi police beat Sikh driver, to spread communal hatred.

On Sunday evening, several video clips of a brawl between the tempo driver Sarabjeet Singh, and policemen went viral on social media. In one of the video, Delhi policemen were seen thrashing the driver. Meanwhile, the Delhi High Court Wednesday rapped the Delhi Police for the alleged assault on a tempo driver and his minor son in northwest Delhi's Mukherjee Nagar, saying it was "evidence of police brutality" and how a uniformed force ought not to act.
