Indian Army Organises Medical Camp in Bufliaz Area of Jammu And Kashmir's Poonch District
As part of confidence-building measures in the Kashmir Valley, the Indian Army organised a medical camp in Bufliaz area of Poonch district on Saturday. Free medicines were provided to the people who came for a checkup.
Poonch, December 23: As part of confidence-building measures in the Kashmir Valley, the Indian Army organised a medical camp in Bufliaz area of Poonch district on Saturday. Free medicines were provided to the people who came for a checkup. The army generally organises these camps in terrorism-hit areas of the valley. Earlier in December this year, the army organised a sports festival for the residents of far-flung regions of the state. On the same day, the army also held a free medical camp on the sidelines of the sports event for the benefit of all visiting locals. A team of expert Army doctors provided free check-up and medicines at the camp. More than 700 locals took benefit of the medical camp and praised the Army for their efforts.
The forces also organised similar Camp at Poonch's Degwar village in May this year. That camp was organised by the 93 Brigade and 2 Naga Battalion of Naga regiment, the camp provided free checkups and medicines to the residents and their cattle in the far-flung area that lies close to the Line of Control (LoC).
