New Delhi, January 28: Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent out a stern message to Pakistan while addressing the National Cadet Corps (NCC) rally in the national capital on Monday. PM Modi said the nation is "fully capable" to retaliate if its territorial integrity is challenged, adding that the Army has been giving a befitting response to those who want to vitiate the state of peace.

Modi added that the Army is working with a clear motto -- it would not provoke the enemies, but if subjected to adversity, the forces would not leave them unhurt. "We will not hesitate in taking a step when it is about national security," he said. Indian Army Will Not Hesitate to Launch Another Surgical Strike, Says Lt Gen Devraj Anbu.

"Today the entire world is saying that India is not only full of possibilities, but India is also fulfilling all of them, be it economic conditions or our capability to fight our enemies," the Prime Minister further added.

 

Apart from sending a veiled geopolitical message to Islamabad, Modi praised the NCC cadets for playing a crucial role in the success of his cleanliness campaign - the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

The Prime Minister also appreciated the role of NCC cadets for their immense contribution during Kerala floods.

Earlier, cadets from all  three wings of the armed forces, Army, Navy and Air Force presented Guard of Honour to the Prime Minister followed by a march past by contingents. The Prime Minister also presented  awards to the best cadets in different categories. A total of 2,070 cadets, including 698 girl cadets drawn from 29 States and 7 Union Territories participated in this year's camp.
