Indian Air Force Puts All Air Defence Systems on High Alert After Striking Terror Camps Across LoC

According to a tweet by ANI, the Indian Air Force has put on high alert all air defence systems along the international border and LoC to respond to any possible action by Pakistan Air Force.

New Delhi, February 26: After the Indian Air Force (IAF) launched aerial strikes along the Line of Control (LoC) on Tuesday, all border areas have been put on high alert along the International border. According to a tweet by ANI, the Indian Air Force has put on high alert all air defence systems along the international border and LoC to respond to any possible action by Pakistan Air Force. The IAF on Tuesday carried out aerial strike at terror camps in Pakistan occupied Kashmir. News agency ANI also quoted IAF sources as saying that the attack took place at 3:30 am when 12 Mirage 2000 fighter jets struck a major terrorist camp across the LoC and completely destroyed it with 1,000 kg bombs.  Reports inform that  Balakot, Chakothi and Muzaffarabad terror launch pads across the LOC were completely destroyed in IAF air strikes. Meanwhile, JeM control rooms also destroyed in the strike.

The attack comes 12 days after suicide attack by Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammad terror group that killed 40 CRPF soldiers in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district on February 14.
