Bhuntar, March 9: The Indian Air Force on Saturday airlifted around 43 people from snow-covered regions of Lahaul-Spiti, an official statement said.

On Friday, the IAF rescued more than 50 people, including two in serious medical condition, to Himachal Pradesh's Bhuntar. The region is known for heavy snowfall which affects normal life. It hampers movement of vehicles as well.
