Jammu, February 27: Amid the increasing tensions between India and Pakistan, all government and private schools within a range of 0 to 5 Kms from International Border (IB) and Line of Control (LoC) to remain closed in Jammu on Thursday. District Magistrate issued an order to shut down schools in the city. Meanwhile, 8th and 9th classes Mathematics exam scheduled which is scheduled to be held on February 28 has also been postponed. Meanwhile, Pakistan Air Force (PAF) today violated the Indian air space, a day after Indian Air Force (IAF) destroyed terror Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terror camps in Pakistan’s Balakot, Muzaffarabad and Chakothi. In the engagement one PAF’s F-16 fighter jet was shot down. Meanwhile, the IAF also lost one Mig-21 Bison aircraft. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and the IAF, in a joint briefing, confirmed that an Indian pilot is in Pakistan's custody, but did not reveal the identity of the pilot.
