New Delhi, February 26: Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale on Tuesday confirmed the strikes by Indian Air Force (IAF) on Jaish-e-Mohammed camps across the Line of Control in the early morning hours of February 26. At 0330 hours on February 26, at least 12 Mirage 2000 Indian fighter jets struck terror camps across the LoC and destroyed them. Reports say nearly 300 terrorists have been killed as part of the operation.

Reports say the bombing by IAF on JeM terror camps went on for 21 minutes. After this, all the 12 IAf aircraft returned safe - undetected and undeterred. The IAF jets used laser-guided bombs as well as Air-To-Surface Missiles in the attack.
