New Delhi, August 14: On the occasion of Independence Day on Thursday (August 15), the Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) at Delhi Airport is applicable only for Chartered (non-scheduled) flights, from 6 am to 10 am and 4 pm to 7 pm, on August 15. According to an ANI tweet, transit flights can't operate during NOTAM period, and all scheduled flights will operate as per their schedule.

There will be no impact of NOTAM at Delhi Airport on aircraft of IAF, BSF, Army or Aviation. State-owned aircraft/helicopter can fly with the Governor/Chief Minister of State. Delhi Police Issues Traffic Advisory, Here Are Road Closures & Diversions For August 15.

Delhi Traffic Police on Sunday issued an advisory regarding the closure of roads and diversion on Independence Day. Routes like Netaji Subhash Marg to Delhi Gate, GPO to Chatta Rail, SP Mukherjee Marg to Yamuna Bazar, Chandni Chauk to Red Fort, Dariyaganj to Ring Road and Link Road to Netaji Subhash Chand Marg will remain closed on August 15 from 4 am to 10 am, said the Delhi Traffic Police.
