New Delhi, December 3: The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has made one of the biggest arms busts in the Capital this year. The police officials have arrested two people after conducting a raid at an illegal arms factory in Delhi's Karawal Nagar area. Police personnel has also recovered arms and ammunition from the accused, police said on Monday. A case has been registered against the accused and police is trying to nab other suspects involved in this case. Delhi Police Arrests Three Terrorists of ISJK Group; Arms And Ammunition Recovered.
According to Delhi Police, carbine, cartridges and types of equipment used to manufacture weapons were seized from the arrested. The police team raided the illegal manufacturing unit and arrested two of the weapon manufacturers. A large amount of raw material was also seized from the spot. Earlier in a similar incident from October, the special cell of police had seized 80 pistols and raw material from illegal weapon factory near Delhi. Police had arrested five people after conducting the raids. The weapon manufacturers belonged to Bihar's Munger. The arrest was made after police recovered 65 pistols from a car in Delhi, during interrogating the occupants, spilled the beans about the factory.
