IAF Aircraft Crash Lands in Baghpat in Uttar Pradesh, Pilot Safe
An aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) crash landed in Uttar Pradesh on Friday. The incident happened in Baghpat in UP this morning.
Lucknow, October 5: ML-130, an aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) crash landed in Uttar Pradesh on Friday. The incident happened in Baghpat in UP this morning. The pilot of the micro light aircraft is reported to be safe. The reason for the crash landing is being ascertained. The aircraft had taken off from the Hindon Airbase in Ghaziabad.
This comes a month after an IAF plane had crashed in Jodhpur. An Indian Air Force fighter jet MIG-27 had crashed at Deolia village in Jodhpur on September 4.
Both the pilots in the Jodhpur crash had safely ejected before the aircraft fell on the ground. In a similar incident in June, a Sukhoi jet of the IAF crashed in Nashik district of Maharashtra. Two pilots who were on board managed to eject safely before the crash. The pilots were seen using parachutes to leave the aircraft before it crashed. Both of them landed safely.
