New Delhi, March 4: Union Minister of Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Monday made a scathing attack on Congress for questioning pre-emptive air strikes carried out by Indian Air Force (IAF). Naqvi said that Terrorist and Pakistan are the ones who suffered injuries from the air strikes but Congress is the one who is screaming. The leader further added that Pakistan and Congress has a Jugalbandi (tied together) that's a strange thing. Congress Leaders Kapil Sibal, Ajay Singh Question Balakot Air Strikes Result, Ask PM Narendra Modi to Respond.

Speaking to ANI, Naqvi said, "Chot jo hai vo aatankawaadi aur Pakistan ko lagi hai, cheekh Congress ki nikal rahi hai. Ek taraf Pakistan sawaal puuch raha hai, dusri taraf Congress saboot maang rahi hai. Ye Congress aur Pakistan ki jo jugalbandi hai vo ajeeb baat hai (Terrorist and Pakistan are the ones who suffered injuries from the air strikes but Congress is the one who is screaming. On the one hand, Pakistan is questioning the air strikes and on the other, Congress is demanding proof. Congress leader Ajay Singh referring to foreign media said, "A few days ago, bombs were dropped on Pak. He [PM Modi] said that everything in Balakot was destroyed. NY Times reported that there was no damage due to air strikes. If not today, in the next 10 days, the whole sequence of events will be exposed."

Senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal while criticising PM Narendra Modi said, "PM must speak on reports by international media that say hardly anyone died there (in the airstrike in Balakot). I want to ask PM, ‘Is international media in support of Pak?’ When int'l media speaks against Pak, you feel elated. When they ask questions, it's asking because it supports Pak?"

On February, IAF carried out pre-emptive airstrikes in Pakistan's Balakot to uproot largest Jaish-e-Mohammed training camp. In a press conference on Monday, Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa said that IAF is not in a position to clarify the number of casualties. While, BJP President Amit Shah on Sunday said that the number of terrorists neutralised in air strikes is more than 250.
