Hyderabad, November 30: Hours after the four accused in rape and murder of female veterinary doctors were sent to 14 days judicial remand, locals hurled slippers on police after cops stopped them from entering Shadnagar police station. To bring the situation under control, police resorted to the lathicharge on the locals who hurled slippers on the cops outside the Shadnagar police station. Videos of both the incidents were shared by news agency ANI. The 27-year-old veterinary doctor was gang-raped and burnt to death. Her body was found on Thursday near Shadnagar town of Hyderabad under a National Highway 44 bridge. According to reports, the woman was gang-raped and murdered Wednesday night near Outer Ring Road at Shamshabad on the city outskirts. She made the last call to her younger sister after her bike was taken away by some unknown men for repairing.

Earlier in the day, the Ranga Reddy district Bar council in Telangana denied any legal services to the accused in the murder case. In the notice, the bar council also announced to hold the protest on December 2 against the horrific crime.
