Mumbai, September 25: In a shocking incident, a youth allegedly died by suicide, reportedly due to distress over losing his mobile phone in Hyderabad. Sources reveal that his family members discovered him hanging in his residence on Sunday morning. A case has been registered in connection with the matter. As per the report published by the Times of India, the deceased was identified as Nitish Raj, aged 26.
The police reported the absence of a suicide note in the case. Following conversations with family members, it was revealed that Nitish Raj had been deeply troubled by the loss of his mobile phone, and police suspect that this distress may have driven him to take such a drastic step. In another incident, a 20-year-old youth allegedly died by suicide near Sriperumbudur after his family ‘separated him’ from his lover as they belonged to different castes. Soon after the death, the youth’s family tried to cremate the body without informing anyone, but police received information and stopped the cremation. The Somanmangalam police said that the deceased, Sanjay of Pudhuper, a college student, had gone missing a couple of months ago. His father lodged a police complaint. Police conducted an inquiry and traced him a few days ago. The youth had eloped with his 17-year-old lover as their parents were against their relationship. Sanjay was sent home with a warning, and the girl was sent with her parents.
