Hyderabad, July 31: Hyderabad police reported that a 24-year-old woman was allegedly raped by two men, including her childhood friend. The incident occurred after she and her friend, who was her school classmate, celebrated her new job as a software engineer at a restaurant-cum-bar in Vanasthalipuram.

Subsequently, his cousin also entered the room and raped her. In another case of sexual assault against women, a 26-year-old woman passenger was allegedly raped in a sleeper cubicle of a moving bus by one of the two drivers on the outskirts of Hyderabad on Monday night. The woman alleged that the driver gagged her with a bed sheet before raping her next to her sleeping child.

Both the drivers have been taken into custody and are being questioned. The woman, a widow from Prakasam, works in Nirmal from where she had boarded the bus. The private sleeper coach bus was going from Nirmal to Pamuru in AP.
