Hyderabad, November 8: The Hyderabad Commissioner of Police,  Anjani Kumar took to Twitter to announce an initiative by the Hyderabad police aimed to help the unemployed and jobless people in the city. The Hyderabad Police will be soon restarting a campaign called Job Connect. They intend to fill the gap between the employment-seekers and employers by working as a bridge between them.  Anjani Kumar said that modern police has evolved and care and compassion are core elements of policing these days.Under this initiative, the Hyderabad police coordinates with various companies with employment vacancies and bring them on board to offer jobs to the unemployed youth who have registered with the programme. Hyderabad Police Organise Virtual Run for Road Safety Awareness.

Every month, a police bus with a Hyderabad Police logo and a Job Connect flag, goes around the city in all the four direction on rotational basis, stopping at different places to provide an opportunity to the jobless youth for registering with the campaign and providing all the required details to them. Once they have the information, the police matches the candidate's skills with the job requirement and provides them a suitable job. The Hyderabad Police Commissioner said that the police is in touch with 100 companies for the purpose. Job Connect was first launched in 2017 and ever since had been successful in ensuring employment to a number of jobless youth. As many as 12000 unemployed people have benefited for this initiative of the Hyderabad Police. The main target of the campaign is to provide an easy access to job opportunities to job-seekers in the city. Job Connect has been meeting its target and making it easier of the people of Hyderabad to get jobs of their choice.
