Mumbai, August 31: The Cyberabad police in Hyderabad recently arrested two people in the city for allegedly selling steroids and injections for stamina boosting and muscle building. The cops said the accused reportedly sold steroids, tablets and injections, which helped boost stamina and build muscles. The police also seized materials worth Rs 10 lakh from the possession.

According to a report in the Times of India, the police, the Special Operations Team (SOT) of Madhapur zone, and the anti-drug team laid a trap and arrested the accused after receiving a tip-off. The accused have been identified as Ahmed Bin Abdul Qader (33) and Md Ibrahim (27). While Qader is a gym owner and trainer in Chandrayangutta, his associate Ibrahim is a cab driver. Hyderabad Shocker: Ragpicker Woman Raped, Bludgeoned to Death by Unidentified Persons in Gachibowli.

During the investigation, cops learned that Qader owns Al-Nahdi Fitness Club in Chandrayangutta and has been running the fitness place for the past year. Speaking about the arrest, SOT DCP MA Rasheed said, "As his earnings through the gym were not sufficient due to lack of customers, he came up with a plan to sell banned stamina-booster injections to attract customers."

The DCP further said that Qader reportedly purchased the injections, tablets and steroids from Ibrahim. The accused bought each injection vial for Rs 300 and sold it to his clients for Rs 1,400. After his arrest, Qader confessed to his crime and told cops about the drugs at his gym.
