Srinagar, June 5: Intelligence agencies have prepared a list of the 10 most wanted terrorists. Hizbul Mujahideen chief Riyaz Naikoo is amongst the terrorists named in the list. Security forces will soon launch operations to targeting Naikoo, say reports.  The Hizbul chief was involved in a series of subversive activities leading to casualties of security forces and civilians in the valley. Zakir Musa, Al Qaeda Kashmir Unit Chief, Killed in Pulwama Encounter.

Other terrorists belonging to the Hizbul Mujahideen terror group are its Anantnag district commander Mohd Ashraf Khan, Baramulla district commander Mehraj-ud-Din, terror operator in Srinagar Saifullah Mir, alias Doctor Saif and Pulwama district commander Arshaid-ul Haq and Ajaj Ahmed Malik. Lashkar-e-Toiba’s (LeT) Shopian district commander Wasim Ahmed, alias Osama is also named in the list.

Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) chief operational commander in the Valley Hafiz Umar, who is a Pakistani national, North Kashmir divisional commander of terror group Al-Badr Javed Mattoo and Zahid Sheikh, alias Umar Afghani, are the other listed terrorists, another official said. Jaish-e-Mohammed Planning Major Attack In India; 100 Suicide Attackers Take Oath In PoK.

Last month, Zakir Musa, chief of terror organisation Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind was killed by the security forces in an encounter in Tral area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district. Till now, over 100 terrorists were neutralised by the security forces in the Kashmir Valley this year. However, according to reports, around 50 misguided local youth have joined the terror organisations in the state in the last two months.
