Shimla, Sep 9: At least two people have been killed and 20 others have been injured after a Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) bus fell into a gorge on Sunday. According to a tweet by ANI, the incident took place near Chintpurni. The search and rescue operations are underway. Earlier today, a similar road incident came to light from Himachal Pradesh where eight jawans were injured out of which one was critical.
The accident took place near Chattari in Kangra's Shahpur. Reports by SDM Shahpur present at the site of the accident informed that all the injured ones have been rushed to the hospital.

On Friday, nearly 15 people were injured out of which eight were critical after a Punjab Roadways bus from Kullu to Hoshiarpur skidded off the road in Himachal Pradesh. According to a tweet by TOI, the accident took place along Manali-Chandigarh national highway at Jamli in Bilaspur district.
The injured ones were rushed to Regional Hospital Bilaspur for treatment. According to the TOI report, the accident took place when the driver tried to save a goat that suddenly came before the bus.
