Kullu, April 4: In a major accident on Tuesday in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh one person died while 44 others were injured. The incident took place when the private bus was travelling with passengers on board and crossing Shalang in Kullu district.

All the injured have been admitted to the nearest hospital and are being treated accordingly. The identity of the deceased has not been ascertained, neither the reason for the accident is known as of yet. Jammu and Kashmir: Two IAF Personnel Killed in Awantipora Road Accident. 

According to data released in 2017 by the Transport Research Wing of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, every 10 minutes three persons die in India in road accidents.
