High Tide in Mumbai Today: Time, Schedule and Height of High Tide on August 13, 2018

In the last month, the BMC disaster control management had informed that this monsoon, there will be 24 high-tide days when the sea level will be above 4.6m in Mumbai.

Mumbai, August 13:  A high tide measuring 4.96 metres will hit Mumbai on Monday, August 13. According to a tweet by the Disaster Management wing of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the high tide is expected to hit the shore at 13:26 pm today. A high tide warning asking fishermen not to venture into the sea around the high tide time has also been issued.

The Disaster Management unit has also advised residents not to visit beaches and venture into the sea around that time. It has also issued helpline numbers - 1916 or 101 in case of emergency. In the last month, the BMC disaster control management had informed that this monsoon, there will be 24 high-tide days when the sea level will be above 4.6m in Mumbai.

Private weather monitoring agency Skymet Weather has predicted a monsoon comeback from today as monsoon activity will pick up over Konkan areas and neighbouring state Goa. According to a release by the India Meteorological Department, rough to very rough sea conditions could prevail over west central Arabian Sea with fishermen being warned to avoid taking their boats too far in. There is a possibility of rough sea off the coast of West Bengal, Odisha and Andaman and Nicobar Islands as well.
