Mumbai, August 12: A high tide measuring 4.95 metres is set to hit the Mumbai shore today, August 12. The high tide is expected to hit shore at 12:41 pm this noon. The Disaster Management wing of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has issued a warning for fishermen not to venture into the sea around that time.

The BMC disaster control management in June had issued an advisory saying that this monsoon, there will be 24 high-tide days when the sea level will be above 4.6m in Mumbai.
