Mumbai, April 1: Underworld Don Dawood Ibrahim's sister – Haseena Parkar – flat in Nagpada area of Mumbai was sold for Rs 1.80 Crore in an auction by Smuggling And Foreign Exchange Manipulators Act (SAFEMA) on Monday. The flat was auctioned by SAFEMA and Narcotics, Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) seized the flat in late 2014.

Earlier, bidders have shown interest in occupying the property of Parker, died in 2014, and March 28 was the last day for filing the applications to take part in the auction. The department had set Rs 30 lakh as the deposit for the renowned property and have set the initial bill from Rs 1.69 crore. Former Dawood Ibrahim Aide Lambu Shakeel Died at Jaslok Hospital.

According to the initial details, before fleeing the country, Dawood used to operate his business from his sister’s place. Even Parker also used to operate her business from this flat, until death. With her demise in 2014, the CBI got an approval to seize the flat under SAFEMA and NDPS act.
