New Delhi, July 27: Shivangi Pathak, a 17-year-old girl from Hisar in Haryana, has once again proved that age is just a number and achieved yet another milestone. This time, the teenager from Haryana, has successfully climbed the Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest summit and the tallest free-standing mountain in the world.
Standing at an imposing 5, 895 metres , the Kilimanjaro is considered to be one of the most difficult peaks in the world to scale. The Indian teenager, reportedly completed the mountain journey from the Marangu route, in only three days between 21st July to 24th July, 2018.
Shivangi Pathak has already achieved the title of 'The Eagle of Mountain' after successfully scaling the Mount Everest. She achieved this feat in May, 2018. Shivangi become the youngest Indian to scale Mount Everest from Nepal side. She called Arunima Sinha- the first Indian amputee to climb ‘Mt Everest’ as her inspiration towards mountaineering. Speaking on her achievement, Shivangi Pathak said that women can achieve anything as long as they desire for it. She also said that there is nothing that the the Indian women can't do. Known as 'The Eagle of Mountain', Shivangi said that women must not stop at what they have achieved but instead keep striving for more.
