Haryana: Six Dead After Speeding Car Collides With Truck in Rewari District
According to reports, the car hit a road divider, then a tree and finally crashed into a truck on Jaipur-Delhi national highway in Rewari, police said.
Chandigarh, Sep 9: At least six people have been killed and one has been injured in a road accident on Haryana on Sunday. According to a tweet by ANI, the accident took place after a car carrying them collided with a truck in Rewari district. According to reports, the car hit a road divider, then a tree and finally crashed into a truck on Jaipur-Delhi national highway in Rewari, police said.
According to details by the Police, the accident occurred when the driver of the car lost control of the vehicle. A woman was admitted to PGIMS, Rohtak, in a grievously injured condition, a police official said. According to a PTI report, the dead included two women and a child. Police informed that they were travelling from Jaipur to Delhi when the incident took place.
In the last month, three people were killed in an accident involving three vehicles on the GT Road in Haryana. Two heavy vehicles and a car were involved in the accident last night near a flyover in Umri village, about 8 km from here, Police said. According to a PTI report, the accident caused the two heavy vehicles to catch fire, in which the drivers were burnt to death, investigating officer ASI Bhupinder Singh said.
