Yamunanagar, September 29: In another incident of sexual assault in Haryana, a newlywed has accused her husband, his relatives and four tantriks of gangraping her on the night of her wedding in a village of Yamunanagar district. According to a report published in The Tribune, the police have booked nine people, including four unknown tantriks, in connection with a gangrape. The 22-year-old woman belongs to Babain area of Kurukshetra district. In the complaint filed by the father of the victim, he mentioned that his daughter was married to Gurvinder Singh of Yamunanagar district on September 12.

According to the report, he alleged that his daughter was given sedative by her in-laws at their house and was raped by her brother-in-law Rinku, the husband of her sister-in-law and four unknown tantriks. The victim’s father also alleged that Gurvinder, her mother and her sister-in-law helped the accused in committing the crime. Rewari Gangrape Survivor Re-Admitted to Hospital After Police Take Her to Crime Spot.

In the complaint, the complainant also mentioned that his daughter was raped for several times for three days. He further alleged that the in-laws of the victim were under the influence of tantriks. According to the report, the police registered Zero FIR in Kurukshetra on September 26 and it was referred to the Yamunanagar police. The case had been registered under Sections 376-D (gangrape), 328 (intoxication) and 506 (criminal intimidation) on September 28. The police have started investigating the case.
