Haryana, October 18: Ahead of 2019 Haryana General Assembly Elections on October 21, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing public rallies in Mohana and Hisar in Harayana on Friday. Over the last two days, PM Modi was in Maharashtra, addressing rallies in places like Akola, Jalna and Panvel.
PM Modi's campaign is expected to focus on Manohar Lal Khattar's no-corruption image along with delivering on central social welfare schemes. Modi's last rally in the state would be the Jat-dominated Hissar on October 18. he party is aiming to attract Jat voters in the constituency on the back of the scrapping of Article 370. On Wednesday, while addressing a public rally in Pune, PM Modi made a surprising gesture to his audience while speaking on his government's recent decision to scrap Article 370, which granted special status to Jammu and Kashmir. As the crowd cheered for him, he halted his speech, stepped aside from the dais and bowed before the public twice.
Union Home Minister and BJP working President Amit Shah will address public rallies in Aheri, Rajura, Wani and Khaperkheda in Maharashtra, today. Maharashtra will also be having their elections on October 21. The counting of votes and the results will be declared on the same day which is October 24.
