The state government has earmarked a substantial budget of INR 13,000 crore for the Bhagwan Vishwakarma Yojana. Under this scheme, the youths will receive training in 18 trades. CM Nayab Singh Saini Increases Creamy Layer Income Limit
CM Saini's dedication and commitment to uplift the OBCs can be seen in his decision to increase the annual income limit for the creamy layer in government jobs from INR 6 lakh to INR 8 lakh, excluding salary and agricultural income. This adjustment aligns with central government guidelines and aims to broaden access for OBC candidates.
Skillful Learning and Job Creation
The state government has devised multiple schemes to support the OBC community in education and skill development. The state is providing scholarships to OBC students to ensure better access to education and is organising skill development programs to equip them with the necessary tools to succeed in the job market.
CM Saini's administration has also introduced several initiatives to enhance job creation for the OBC community. The Haryana Skill Employment Corporation now offers a 27% reservation for OBC candidates, aimed at increasing job prospects for young people from the community.
