The decomposed body of the child was brought out by the rescuers after their 80-hours of failed operation. High-tech types of equipment, including "borewell robot" were pressed into service to save the toddler. However, all efforts to rescue Wilson failed.

Sujith was playing near his house when he fell into a 600-ft disused farm borewell. He was initially stuck at a depth of 35 feet but slipped further below to over 70 feet. Everyone was waiting for some miracle to happen and Wilson to come alive, however, their heart broke, when the authorities informed of a foul smell coming from the body.
