Jind, September 25: In a tragic incident, 10 people lost their lives after an oil tanker rammed into their autorickshaw in Haryana’s Jind district on Tuesday night. The incident took place near Ramrai village on Jind-Hisar road. One person was also reported to be injured in the accident. According to reports, the victims were returning from an Indian Army recruitment rally. The injured was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital. After receiving the information, police reached the spot. An ambulance was immediately sent to the site of the accident to shift injured to the hospital. Out of the 10, five victims belonged to Buradahar village in Jind, reported The Tribune. Meanwhile, the identity of the others has still not been ascertained. The accident took place nearly eight km from Jind district headquarters. Police informed the relatives of the victims. In May this year also, three people were killed, and several others were injured as a Haryana Roadways bus overturned after hitting a divider. The incident took place near Jajanwala village at Jind's Danoda. The bus was en route Chandigarh from Hisar.
