Ahmedabad, January 28: Patidar leader Hardik Patel tied the knot with his childhood friend Kinjal Parikh in a simple low profile wedding ceremony in Gujarat on January 27. Hardik married Kinjal at a two-day ceremony in Digsar village of Muli Talika in Surendranagar district of Gujarat. "This is the beginning of the second innings of my family life. My resolution is that everyone should get equal opportunity. We have one pledged to fight together for the 'navnirman' (reconstruction) of the country," Hardik Patel said after his wedding ceremony. Quota Leader Hardik Patel Ties the Knot with Childhood Friend.

"We will fight till the end of our breath for truth, for the people and for the right to equality," Patel added while speaking to reporters after the marriage ceremony. Patel also said that he and Kinjal had been in love for a long time and their families arranged their wedding.

The wedding was a two-day affair on January 26 and 27 for which only close relatives were invited. The wedding was solemnised in the presence of around 100 people.

Kinjal Parikh is from Viramgam and her family is settled in Surat. Hardik Patel, 25, is a native of Chandan Nagari in Viramgam town of Ahmedabad. As per reports, Kinjal is a graduate and is pursuing her law degree.
