Raipur, August 23: Ever since the Supreme Court asked if any Raghuvanshi was living in Ayodhya, several people have come forward claiming to be descendants of Lord Ram. The latest such incident comes from Chhattisgarh where a High Court advocate, Hanuman Prasad Aggarwal, filed an affidavit in the top Court claiming himself to be a descendant of Lord Ram. According to a tweet by ANI, Aggarwal said, "Recently SC asked if there are any descendants of Lord Ram? Knowing about it, I filed an affidavit by collecting evidence from internet."

Earlier this month, erstwhile Jaipur princess and BJP Leader Diya Kumari had tweeted that the descendants of Lord Ram are all over the world, including her family who descended from his son Kush. Days after the royals claimed their lineage to Lord Ram, Rajasthan cabinet minister Pratap Singh Khachariya also said that his lineage goes back to Lord Ram's son Kush. Khachariya said that his family belongs to the Kachhawa clan, the descendants of Kush, who was younger son of Lord Ram.
