Gwalior, August 5: In a bizarre incident in Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior, three women are accused of sealing a Shivalinga with bricks and cement during the holy month of Sawan. The Shivalinga, a sacred symbol in a local Shiva temple, was covered with cement and bricks, leaving devotees stunned. The police have arrested two of the women and launched an investigation into the unusual act. When questioned, the woman came up with a shocking reply. 

When the locals arrived at the temple and found the Shivling sealed, they contacted the police. Why Did They Seal the Shivling

One of the women, Krishna, claimed that Lord Shiva had appeared to her in a dream, instructing her to encase the Shivalinga so it could "grow" inside. Acting on this divine directive, Krishna and her accomplices sealed the Shivalinga with bricks and cement. Local residents had raised concerns about the three women, noting that they appeared mentally unstable and had previously obstructed visitors from accessing the temple. Following the incident, the police were alerted to the unusual behaviour. After arriving at the scene, officers removed the bricks and cement that had been used to seal the Shivalinga. The investigation is ongoing as authorities seek to understand the motivations behind the women's actions and assess any potential impact on the temple's operations and community.
