Gwalior, October 25: In a chilling incident from Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior, police revealed that a father hired contract killers to murder his 28-year-old son due to frustration over his son's addiction and criminal activities. The victim, Irfan Khan, a resident of Gwalior's Purani Cantonment, had a history of involvement in crime and was addicted to gambling, marijuana, and smack. His lifestyle led to frequent arguments with his family, ultimately pushing his father, Hasan Khan, to take such decision.

According to police investigations, Hasan was deeply disturbed by Irfan's behaviour and the toll it was taking on the family, reported Dainik Bhaskar. Desperate to end this cycle, he devised a plan to have Irfan killed. On October 21, Hasan lured Irfan to a secluded spot near Badnapura-Akbarpur hill, where the killers lay in wait. Police launched an investigation, interrogating numerous suspects and piecing together evidence that eventually pointed to Hasan. His suspicious behavior and conflicting statements during questioning led authorities to suspect his involvement. Upon further interrogation, Hasan confessed to orchestrating the murder. The police have since initiated a manhunt for Arjun and Bhim Singh, who are currently on the run.
