Gurugram, July 5: After a brief spell of bone-drying heat, Delhi, Gurgaon and the adjoining areas received some respite today. The heavy showers were reported from the national capital region and within hours the road in Gurgaon, officially named Gurugram, was beneath several feet of water. The 45 minutes of rain led to massive jams and waterlogging in several areas.
After the rains, many were pleased to get relief from severe heat but some were appalled as waterlogged roads led them stuck in traffic for hours. Many of them took their complaints to social media, especially on Twitter. Delhi Rains Are Finally Here And Delhiites Are Loving The Arrival Of Monsoon 2019! See Pics And Videos.
