Gurugram, October 23: The teenage son of a Gurugram judge, who was shot at by his father’s security guard on October 13, succumbed to his injuries at a hospital on Tuesday morning. The tragic incident comes 10 days after the boy lost his mother in the attack. According to a report by ANI, Additional District and Sessions Judge Krishan Kant’s teenager son was declared brain dead at a Gurugram hospital. His heart, liver and a kidney have been donated.

The wife and son of the judge were shot at by his official security guard in Gurugram's Sector 49 on October 13. The incident took place when the additional sessions judge Krishan Kant's wife Ritu and their 18-year-old son Dhruv had gone shopping in Gurugram's Sector 49. Gurugram Firing: Wife of Additional Sessions Judge Succumbs to Injuries, Son Critical. 

While the woman died on the spot, her 18-year-old son was admitted to a hospital in a critical condition and was declared brain dead and put on life support system. Soon after the horrific incident, the gunman, identified as Mahipal, was arrested and was later sent to judicial custody. On October 15, the Gurugram Police detained the assailant's mother and cousin for interrogation. Gunman Mahipal, who shot an additional session judge's wife and son in Gurugram was been sent to 14-day judicial custody in the last week.
