Gurugram, August 9: In a yet another case of misbehaviour, a traffic police officer was allegedly dragged on the bonnet of a car after he asked a couple to stop for breaking traffic signal on Sohna Road in Haryana's Gurugram. Following this, the couple were arrested. According to the Hindustan Times report, the incident took place at Vatika Chowk on Thursday around 9: 45 am when traffic police constable Sunil Kumar spotted a car jumping traffic signal. Kumar came in front of the car and signalled them to stop. In a bid to escape, the woman accelerated. However, Kumar jumped on the car's bonnet and hung on for nearly 45 metres. After stopping the car, the woman, a chartered accountant, started abusing traffic constable and threatened to kill him if he ever stops their vehicle, Hindustan Times reported.

Two journalists from local new channel spotted the episode and one of them started recording it. The woman saw him making a clip and assaulted him. On the statement of traffic police, an FIR has been registered against the couple and they were arrested.
