Gurugram: Building Wall Collapses in Udyog Vihar After Heavy Rains, Several Vehicles Damaged

Gurugram, August 2: With heavy downpour lashing northern India's cyber city, a wall of a building in Gurugram collapsed on Friday in Udyog Vihar in Gurugram in Haryana. Several cars have damaged in the Udyog Vihar wall collapse. Along with the building wall collapsed, the road over a basement close to the building also collapsed, though injuries have been reported as of yet.
Similar incidents in various parts of Maharashtra took place where several people were crushed under the debris and succumbed to injuries. The incident of roof collapse in Solapur branch of Bank of Maharashtra was reported which killed a person and injured 20. Similarly, in Mumbai on July 16, at least four people have been killed after a four-storey building collapsed in Dongri area of Mumbai. Reports inform that eight people have been injured while many were feared trapped. Also, on June 29, a 60-ft-wall collapsed in Pune, killing at least 15 people.
