Gurgaon, March 25: Gurgaon police on Monday arrested one more accused in connection with the attack on a Muslim family by a mob in city’s Bhondsi area. He was identified as Dhirendra. Till now, only two people have been arrested by the Police. The incident took place on March 21, when at least 35 to 40 men attacked the family members with iron rods and sticks. The mob also pelted stones on their house. Meanwhile, a 21-year-old member of the Muslim family, Daanishtha Siddiqui recorded the whole incident from the terrace. The attackers also tried to attack her. According to the Quint’s report, she was busy in the kitchen, frying fritters for the family on Holi evening in Gurgaon's Bhondsi area when she heard loud noises and abuses from downstairs. Immediately she rushed out and saw that the mob was thrashing her family members.

The video is doing rounds on social media. However, according to news agency PTI, the police have nabbed six people based on the video footage, but local police have officially arrested one of them. He was identified as Mahesh Kumar.
